For a Particularly Discreet Tooth Correction
Many patients ask for possibilities of an esthetic and (almost) invisible tooth correction.
Transparent aligners are particularly suitable in this case as an alternative to conventional braces: they can only be recognized by a close look and they do not interfere with speech.

How the Aligner Treatment Works
Initially, an imprint/scan of your teeth is taken and it is converted into a virtual 3-D model. The treatment target is then set and the entire course of the treatment is simulated with special software. Finally, the aligners are manufactured individually for you on this basis.
Aligners must be worn 20-22 hours a day and should only be removed during eating and cleaning. This makes this method of tooth correction at the same time particularly gentle and very effective.
As with almost all orthodontic treatments, the patient’s cooperation is a prerequisite for a successful course and the achievement of the treatment goal. The duration of treatment with invisible braces depends on the individual situation and usually varies between 14 and 20 months. The duration of treatment with an invisible appliance thus corresponds to the usual treatment time with which we plan in orthodontics in order to achieve beautiful and healthy teeth with the gentlest possible treatment.
Alternatives
Other Almost Unnoticeable Options
In orthodontics, invisible braces are often used. However, an invisible appliance is not suitable for every indication. In some cases we have to work with conventional methods of orthodontics.
Also in these cases there are possibilities for almost invisible tooth correction, for example by lingual braces or the use of tooth-colored ceramic brackets. In a personal conversation at our practice, we will discuss whether an invisible tooth correction is an option for your treatment.
